Azure Active Directory: IAM for the future
28/03/2019 – 11.30 am
What will you learn
As your organization moves to the cloud and embraces enterprise mobility, your security strategy should start with a highly secure internal identity. When we talk to customers moving to the cloud, we realize that people are still mainly concerned about their ‘network security’ during their journey to the cloud. The reality, however, is that when you switch to the cloud, ‘identity’ becomes your most important control area. It is the basis of the new perimeter which needs to be protected. The boundaries of the company are no longer and can no longer be the limits of your own organization. Having a strong identity and access strategy is crucial for balancing security and productivity – this is your first line of defence.
In this free webinar we will be discussing why a strong IAM (Identity and Access Management) strategy and solution is crucial for the modern security challenges in a cloud or hybrid IT environment.
More information
Your users are constantly moving outside the network perimeter of your organization, using a whole range of cloud apps for both professional and private matters. Always being ‘connected’ is the new normal. We often see professional cloud app usage (for example, collaborative tools such as Slack, or Cloud storage services) where users log on with their social ID (e.g. Facebook account), sharing company information and data. It’s hard to manage and secure cloud app usage if you don’t know who is using what in the first place…
Azure AD (Active Directory) is a versatile cloud-based IAM solution that allows you to bring very powerful authentication and authorization control to cloud applications, including user-synchronization, SAML or OAuth based authentication, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access, and more. At the same time, it can tightly integrate with your internal Active Directory (and even issue and consume Kerberos tickets) to publish your internal on premise applications in a secure way. It will allow the end-user to use their corporate identity for almost any application or cloud service without the need to switch between several IDs.
We will cover following topics:
Securing your modern workplace across identities and infrastructures becomes quite a challenge and requires an innovative approach with evolving technology. Microsoft has become a major trusted player in cloud security, creating a security solution portfolio based on a fundamentally different approach. Their Azure AD IAM solution is designed to stay ahead of the evolving game. That is why, in our webinar, we will dive deeper in Microsoft Azure AD:
